The next release in our 1:50 scale Historical Aircraft Morale Patch lineup. Introducing the ILYUSHIN II-4 Limited-Edition Embroidered Patch—The first bomber in our historical aircraft series.

Historical Significance:

In narratives dominated by the achievements of the U.S.-made B-25 Mitchells and A-20 Bostons, the contribution of the Soviet-manufactured Ilyushin Il-4 often goes unacknowledged, yet it was a pivotal bomber on the Eastern Front. The production of the Il-4 surpassed 5,000 units during the war, showcasing its versatility in roles ranging from medium to long-range bombing, as well as in torpedo attacks. Echoing the sentiments of its creator, Sergei Ilyushin, in 1943, he emphasized the immense faith required to pilot the Il-4 over 1500 km through the darkness of night into enemy territory, trusting wholly in the aircraft and its engine's reliability.

Limited Availability:

This patch is more than a collector's item; it's a piece of history.

With a production time nearing 3 hours in embroidery alone, is a large reason why this and probably future bombers larger in size will be preorder only.

Produced in limited numbers: Max of 30. (this will most likely be less - Preorders will close once the last one on order is made. Meaning, once the run is done that will be the limited number made, whether that be 2, 15 or 30.)

These will be made in the order reservations are received and shipped as soon as yours is finished.

Yes, I'll update the number wherever it ends up at.

BUT I will not re-setup the machine to make them in the future if you miss out getting in on the preorder.

• Width: 16.9 inches — aligning with our 1:50 scale series for authenticity and detail.
